Since 2018, the Middletown Sustainability Committee “Green Team” has partnered with the Middletown Branch Library, hosting a variety of lectures on many important “Green” topics. As a ‘Sustainable Maryland Community,’ Middletown strives to improve the quality of life in tangible ways.

Kerry Wixted, Expert Maryland Naturalist and Association of Fish & Wildlife Agencies Invasive Species Program Manager, has spent years instructing Natural History Field Studies Programs in Maryland. She will speak about the importance of native and invasive plants in Maryland and how we can use plants to support wildlife.
