Green Lecture Series at the Middletown Public Library
Since 2018, the Middletown Sustainability Committee “Green Team” has partnered with the Middletown Branch Library, hosting a variety of lectures on many important “Green” topics. As a ‘Sustainable Maryland Community,’ Middletown strives to improve the quality of life in tangible ways.

Bird City and Migratory Bird Day
with Cindy Unangst & Deb Portney
Middletown was designated the newest Bird City Maryland in 2024! A Bird City encourages communities to implement sound bird-conservation practices by enhancing the environment for birds and educating the public about the contributions birds make to a healthy community. Deb Portney, Master Naturalist, will discuss Migratory Birds.
